Fresh Pasta-making

How many of us have a pasta machine lurking at the back of our kitchen cupboards, that has only ever seen the light of day once or twice? Making fresh pasta is a very simple technique once you know how and is great fun to do. There is not much that is more satisfying than producing a plate of your own parpadelle with ragu a la bollognese. The types of pasta and variations of sauces are almost endless so you can always learn more. In Italy any child worth their salt will have learnt the technique from their mother.

This course is taught by Matthew Dorich who is passionate about fresh pasta. He will teach you what shape pasta goes best with each sauce as well as getting hands-on making dough, rolling it out and creating fabulous little ravioli, tortellini and simple linguine. You will learn to create a number of different fillings and sauces to go with your new skill, which we will then sit down to enjoy in our beautiful dining room. Your pasta machine can finally come out of hiding!

We believe that no feast is complete without a glass of wine, however if you require more than this, wine is available to buy on the day.
