Thermomix Masterclass Courses at the Fine Dining Academy

All Thermomix Masterclasses are stand-alone classes and can be taken in any order. The Michelin star chef tutors from the Fine Dining Academy, Thermomix expert Janie Turner and your fellow classmates will certainly be excellent sources of lots of tips and hints, recipe ideas and enthusiasm! You’ll also get multiple insights into how Thermomix is used by top chefs in professional kitchens.

Bronze Thermomix Masterclass – the themes for this course are “Colour, Flavour, Texture!” and the recipes demonstrate that food prepared and/or cooked in the Thermomix has fabulous colour retention (the very efficient blending reduces oxidation), wonderful preservation and enhancement of flavour (volatile aromatics are retained during cooking so flavours are heightened), and the textures are perfect (from risotto with every grain of rice cooked perfectly, to utter smoothness in purées and soups).

Silver Thermomix Masterclass – the themes for this course are “Speed, Productivity, Savings!” The recipes demonstrate that the speed of the Thermomix means fresh food from scratch is easy and very fast; speed leads to increased productivity which is enhanced by the fact that Thermomix cooks and stirs by itself saving valuable time at the stove and freeing you for other activities (or just a cup of coffee and a rest!); savings inevitably follow speed and productivity, and of course the savings are massive in both professional and domestic kitchens (e.g. sweetcorn puréed in a Thermomix produces 30 to 40% more purée than in a traditional blender and sieve! i.e. increased yield and less waste.) You’ll also see and understand the advantages of having an extra TM bowl at home or work and chefs will see the very considerable benefits of having multiple Thermomix units in their kitchens.

Gold Thermomix Masterclass – the themes for this course are “Recipe Development, Consistent Results, Michelin Star Quality!” You will see and taste the results of using Thermomix for your recipe development: built-in weighing scales ensure repeatability for easy progress towards perfection; Thermomix produces consistent results every time (accurate temperature control, weighing scales, electronic timer) – invaluable in the professional kitchen and very helpful at home for everyday meals and for entertaining; with Thermomix plus instruction from Alan, Chris, or Will, Michelin Star quality is at your fingertips.

• “The best day at a cookery school I have ever had – and I’ve been to several different schools. The teaching was excellent and the tips invaluable.” (TM at home)

• “Good food, good recipes, good company, a great set-up, and a very clever machine!” (TM at home)
