
Essential Game
This course is an introduction to the art of game cookery. It will open your eyes to country life as well as show you how easy it is to prepare wild food.
Have you ever been presented with a pheasant in feather or a rabbit in fur and been a bit stuck with what do to next? This course will show you quick and easy ways of preparing a pheasant or pigeon without any of the mess and hassle associated with plucking as well as a fast and effective way of skinning a wild rabbit. Then working in pairs, the group will help prepare a number of our favourite game recipes. You’ll walk away with enough confidence to go home and experiment more with game. As with all of our courses, the cookery day is followed by a feast of the group’s own making in the dining room!
